The one stain on an otherwise comfortable fit was the fact that Vision Pro has a battery pack attached by a tether. It was lightweight I wore it for about half an hour and did not feel any physical fatigue. After all that, the headset fit perfectly, and it took very little adjustment to get it to settle on my head. Once I was handed a headset to put on, Apple had equipped it with the right parts and data to tailor it to my specifications. ![]() The iPhone was also used to scan my ears with the same sensors for an optimal Spatial Audio configuration. Apple hasn’t said how much this will cost, though. AdvertisementĪdditionally, I was able to confirm that because these magnetic inserts are not permanent, you can swap them out for different people-so if you and your spouse both need corrective lenses and each want to use the headset, you can buy one headset and get different vision inserts. This was to create a virtual avatar, called a "persona," for FaceTime calls (more on that shortly) and to pick the right modular components for the headset to make sure it fit my head. Since I was wearing contacts, I didn’t.Īn Apple rep also handed me an iPhone, which I used to scan my face with the TrueDepth sensor array. The photos in this article are of a headset put on display after Monday’s keynote.) Getting set upīefore I was able to put on Vision Pro and try it, Apple gathered some information about my vision-specifically, that I was wearing contact lenses and that I'm nearsighted but not farsighted. (Quick note: Apple wouldn’t allow photos of me wearing the headset-or any other photos during the demo, for that matter. But it’s the first time I’ve tried an AR demo and thought, “Yep, what they showed in the promo video was pretty much how it really works.” That was not my experience with Vision Pro. That was my experience with HoloLens, and it has been that way with consumer AR devices like Nreal, too. Months! Probably even four of them, yet for whatever reason I kept neglecting to take my sticky fingers off Back Girl and put ’em on the keyboard to type a review. I’ve been enjoying this onahole for months now. – Retailers marked with * are affiliate linksįuck me, man. – This product was provided by Motsu Toys* for masturbation review purposes Retailers: Motsu Toys* / otonaJP / Kanojo Toys* / Otona Sekai / Toy Demon* What this means for us who enjoy a novel masturbation experience is that there are a lot more manufacturers trying to work at making the best sex toy from a closely related but different angle.Īs they say, variety is the spice of life.Measurements: length – 14.5cm, weight – 330g There are different social norms and I'd imagine the buying habits and of course tastes are wildly different. The main reason why you'd want to try out one of these toys is because the overseas sex toy industry developed kind of parallel to the sex toy industry here. Pretty much any male strokers that don't feature a case in their design are completely serviceable as onaholes. There's always some listings for some on marketplace sites or outdated machine-translated sites, those should really be avoided in the name of safety. Most run of the mill sex shops will have toys more or less indistinguishable from onaholes if you look hard enough I'd imagine, but J-List was the only trustworthy option I could narrow down for the real deal. Tracking down a toy that's a true onahole is a bit difficult if you don't live in Asia. So with all these options, how can anyone tell which ones are worth it and which ones are trash? A dozen or so toys later and I have a few answers worth sharing: A lot of them are still very entertaining in my opinion. There's going to be a lot of pictures in this article with non-English text on them and I will emphatically say I don't have the slightest idea what it means. In my book, a good Onahole is easy to use & clean, feels good, won't end up in the trash a week later, and most importantly was worth the price in the first place. ![]() ![]() One thing there isn't a lot of is discussion as to worthwhile Onaholes, this might be because of the nature of sexual privacy in Japan or just a victim of circumstance. There are a lot of things western toy producers wouldn't even consider doing that seem to be standard fare for the world of the Onahole. The overseas origin of this toy is also very important because it comes from a place that develop its sex toy industry & associated culture completely independently. ![]() It's essentially just the Japanese term for any toy that's similar to a Fleshlight, except usually without the hard plastic exterior. That means there is no one main manufacturer and no real accepted definition of an Onahole, other than it needs to have some Japanese influence and be a male stroker of some kind. Most often they take the form of straight shot vaginas but it isn't out of the question for an Onahole to be an entire lower torso or even an entire woman just scaled down into a handheld toy. In my experience for something to be an "onahole all it needs is an orifice to insert into and be vaguely skin colored and penis shaped. That's exactly where the name Onahole comes from, anyways. Firstly I'd like to say that this variety of male stroker is very heavily dipped in Japanese sensibility. ![]() 8/12/2023 0 Comments High fi game![]() ![]() ![]() Platforming and puzzle sections between the staged combat encounters operate on the same principles, with platforms and key objects retracting and moving to the same beat. I can’t be the judge of whether or not it’s enough from an accessibility standpoint, but those who may struggle with rhythm games or need assistance with the audio do have some options here, and it’s worth acknowledging the importance of including them and the effort put forth to level the playing field. Additionally, you can activate an on-screen metronome at any point to help keep time more explicitly. For example, powerful combo finishers called Beat Hits use colored circles to show their proper timing, while big incoming attacks leave AoE markers on the ground that change color to the beat to indicate when they’ll land. Seeing Soundsīecause music is the driving force behind Hi-Fi Rush’s design, anything that syncs to the beat through audio cues is also represented with distinct visual cues. Thankfully, with all the tools at my disposal, I could overcome any moments of frustration by changing my approach or at least playing it safer. That can become a problem when Hi-Fi Rush layers on flame-wielding robots and electrified floors, for example, but it works well-enough for most fights. The targeting system did leave me in precarious positions on occasion – since there’s no manual lock-on, I’d sometimes hook onto or gravitate towards enemies I didn’t intend to target, leaving me vulnerable or swinging at the wrong foe. Enemies gradually evolve in complexity with different offensive styles, and things can get chaotic in encounters that mix and match enemy types. My natural ability to clap on two and four wasn’t enough to get past Hi-Fi Rush’s tougher battles. It doesn’t linger on any one concept or gimmick for too long either, steadily throwing in new ideas to toy with before bringing them all together to test my mastery, which meant I never felt like I was simply hammering away to a basic 4/4 time signature. Deciding whether I should use a light or heavy attack to mix up my combo string, a dodge or parry in anticipation of incoming hits, the grappling hook to close the gap on targets, or a summon to have a companion break shields or stun enemies never felt overwhelming since I could just pace myself to the music. This rhythmic system leaves no ambiguity in combo timing and paces itself in a way that allows for room to consider each follow-up move. Using a similar foundation as Devil May Cry or Bayonetta, each combat encounter across the roughly 10-12 hour campaign is graded on completion speed, elegance, and the ability to stay on beat with combos, but that constant tie to the music results in a type of satisfaction I just don’t get from other stylish-action games. Chai always executes his attacks on the beat regardless of your own input timing, but keeping in rhythm with the BGM’s BPM rewards you with extra damage rather than punishing any missed notes. It Takes You to TangoĪt its best, Hi-Fi Rush’s combat creates a unique harmonious flow where music is your guide every step of the way. From so many angles, Hi-Fi Rush is able to showcase its uniquely charming spirit. It's done with effortless humor and some genuinely warm moments. This playful setup sets a strong tone, and things only get better from there as Hi-Fi Rush layers on a fantastic crew of allies, charismatic villains, and bombastic fights - and often wrapped in a poignant satire of our tech dystopia. ![]() 8/11/2023 0 Comments Datagrip generate diagram![]() ![]() ![]() It also allows the construction of logical, physical, and logical/physical models.
